I run a biz and among many other things, my life revolves around staying connected to the world via the internet. I’ve tried media fasts to no avail because of my biz. Lately there’s been a major disconnect between people who are on social networks. They can no longer hold conversations in public or write a simple status without abbreviating words because of the text-crazed world we’re in. I want to go back to the days when passing notes in class was fun and exciting because when I was in highschool, only a small percentage of people had a cell phone. I miss saving those letters/notes and reading them a year later and bawling over with laughter from the things me and friends said. This is why I want a pen pal.
